Stopped here because of the reviews on YELP and I was getting my car serviced near by. We live @50 minutes but we'd come back for sure. Not very big but they have great Asian and are always packed!

I ate here for the first time today and I am so happy that I found here! I had kimchi soup and seafood pancake. They were both delicious. I will definitely try the others next time. A korean lady (I assume she's the owner) was so kind and so generous with side dishes refill. I've been looking for a good korean restaurant around here for a long time and I do feel this is the one !!

Best Korean food in FWB. My mom took me there back when I was in high school and after joining the Navy and retiring after 22 years says something about this place still being open in the same location. I love going here every time I get a chance.

We came by last night to check it out after reading the reviews and unfortunately it was closed at 8:30, not "kinda closed", completely "lights off no one home closed". Wish we could have tried it out.

I am sad to give a low rating because the owner was very sweet. We were not impressed with the food and the portions were small including the sides. While waiting for our food, hubby picked up one of the seasonings on our table and found weevils inside when he opened it:p.

Awesome place. Best korean food around. I've had friend's who have deployed to Korea and they also claim it is amazing (especially the yaki mandu). The lady who runs the place is super sweet and the entire experience is very homestyle.

First time eating Korean food and this place is amazing! So cute and tucked away in a strip mall the staff is amazing as well as the food! The bulgogi and the Yaki Mandoo were delicious. I would recommend this to anyone looking for authentic Korean cuisine.

Haven't had Korean food this good in a very long time! Yaki Mandu and Galbi were delicious. My husband had the Bibimbap, which was also fantastic!

I have to admit I was a little intrigued about this place and curious as this was my very first time with Korea food.... Ooh dear! From the moment I walked in and saw this lady with a very friendly smile and greeting I knew I was going to be thankful. I am assuming the lady there is the owner, I don't know for sure, As the way she treated customers was something else (super friendly). She was very kind to take the time and explain to me the menu (excuse my ignorance with Korea food); service is GREAT!! Food is AMAZING! I totally loved it and enjoyed every bite. Will be back here every time I'm in the area.

Best authentic Korean food in town, hands down. Reasonable prices and filling portions. Definitely a gem in Fort Walton.

Good pork bulgogi. The staff is very polite and helpful. I felt like they'd do anything for me while I'm there. Call first they sometimes run out of food and close. That's a good thing

This place was a little difficult to find. It is in a shopping center with the Asian Market. It is hidden on the corner next to the coin laundromat. UPDATED: I am even more in love with this place! I went in for a second visit. The owners remembered me! I didn't mention it before, but they know their regular customers by name and remember their favorite orders! Awesome! The food is made to order and comes out PIPING HOT! This time my server was someone new. She suggested I try the dumplings! DELICIOUS! but too good. The tofu tastes like meat (pork to be specific). I don't eat pork for my own reasons, but I definitely love the taste of it. They insisted it was vegetarian and I trusted them to tell me the truth, but I think they could see the uneasiness in my face as I ate so the cook came out and SHOWED me what was in the food. It was definitely vegetarian and I am in love with the dumplings now! I tend not to like tofu and this is one of three places where I actually enjoyed eating it. Great food and AMAZING service. Once again, every customer who visited the restaurant during my visit got exceptional service and left happy (including me lol). It was all perfect! I will be visiting here whenever I am in the area. I am so in love.

You would never know this place is exists if you didn't have yelp or drive by it in the daytime. There is no lights to highlight it at night. When you open the door its small and cozy. The waitress/owner is super friendly. The meal was very authentic and the beef and chicken bulgogi is on point.

Check the hours. Went there today and apparently they close at 6 instead of 9 like the yelp says. Call before you go!

A-MAZING!!! Family of five, two picky eaters, dieter...the check was less than $30!!!! Its a hole-in-the-wall, quaint, comfortable, owned by the sweetest little lady. A great selection of traditional food, if you want spicy...you have but to ask. Yummy kimchi! Thank you, We have a new fave when we're in town.

If you choose your restaurants based on ambiance, decor, location, fru-fru-ness, or some such reason, then this won't be the place for you. Its located in a strip mall next to an Army Navy surplus store and an Asian food market, and seriously you won't even see the sign for it out front, so slow down and just pull into the strip mall your GPS or iPhone takes you to. Inside it is pretty sparce, you can see the refrigerators they store the food in, etc. But what it lacks in decor, it completely makes up for it in service and taste, big time. Me, well, I choose my restaurants based on the FOOD they serve, so we stopped here while on vacation based on the Yelp reviews, and it didn't disappoint one bit. The Korean lady who runs it is SO nice and friendly, she just oozes joy and makes the whole experience pleasant. I had never had Korean food before, so since there were 5 of us I just ordered 5 different meats and we all shared it all family style. The taste of every single item was totally delicious. We've been eating out every night on this trip, and this place won for good taste and fun/educational/adventurous experience, HANDS DOWN.

This used to be the "go to" Korean restaurant for my mom and I. We went in for lunch on a Monday in Sept 14' and I was given some bokkum with suspicious meat. I ordered chicken, it was neither chicken, pork, beef, lamb, shrimp, fish, or lobster......but it was A WHITE MEAT. She got me! She pulled the okki dokki on me! Never again.

Permanent stop on the way to shopping in Destin from Pensacola. The woman who runs this place is a superstar and actually responds with "Okki Dokki" all the time! The egg drop soup actually has an egg dropped in it. We got the short ribs... a mouthful of heaven. Don't pass up the Bulgogi wonton things. Vinegar and soy sauce (as suggested) is the greatest dip for fried food ever.

We visited this place based on yelp reviews. All of us have been to Korea so we wanted something authentic. I was sad that she didn't have kimbob in stock. She said next time we have to call ahead so she can make it. Nope, next time I'll just go to Kim's Korean restaurant right down the street where they have everything on their menu available for order. I also had their chicken bulgogi and it needed more flavor. I found myself piling on chili sauce and it was still very plain. I did like how the chicken pieces were small and piled up just like you get in Korea but overall I enjoyed Kim's Korean much more and didn't really understand what all the fuss was about here. Prices were also a little high for what you get.

Delicious, authentic Korean food!!! My mom is Korean and when I moved out here I started really missing Korean food. I went to Kim's (another popular Korean restaurant in the area) but it wasn't nearly as good. I was so glad when I found Okki Dokki! They make truly amazing Korean dishes. Everything tasted fresh and just as good as my mom's cooking! I highly recommend the bulgogi.

Drove all the way from Santa Rosa to check this place out based on Yelp reviews. When we parked and saw the outside, we all thought we made a big mistake. It was small and looked like a takeout place. Since we drove all that way, we figured we might as well continue on. Upon entering, we saw it was indeed a small restaurant, but all the tables were occupied except for one which we quickly grabbed. Service was a little slow because there was only one extremely nice and friendly Korean lady. The food was actually very good. The seafood paejeon was done very well with lots of seafood. The japchae lacked flavor but the kalbi was tender and flavorful. Overall a very good meal.

I the kalbi ribs and the beef bilgogi but be prepared to pay a higher price every time you go there!

Love this place! Delicious food. Service can get a little slow because it's just that adorable Korean lady, but she runs her buns off! If you are squeamish about restaurant 'hygiene' you might be a little put off - so don't go poking around by the bathroom. The dining room is TINY and somewhat run down.... But the food is always fresh and super yummy. This last time, my husband got shrimp bulgogi, medium heat. I ordered the kimbap (Korean sushi) and tried the ramyeon (Ramen) and it was super flavorful and cheap, too! Husband loved the flavor of his shrimp - and he was sweating pretty good by the end! Sure sign of heat! Her little sides I could eat by the plateful. YUM YUM YUM!!!! I would gladly eat any dish off this menu. Next time (and there WILL be a next time) I think I am going to order off the back for the truly authentic Korean!

Read the reviews and gave it a chance- SO GLAD I DID. Yuummmy! The food was fresh and delicious ! Don't be scared away by the outside - staff is great and food is amazing.

As we pulled up in the small strip mall parking lot, I was hesitant as to what I may find inside. Lo and behold, inside was very clean, and the service was great! I had the dol sot bi bim bop. The flavors were on point, and the ingredients were fresh! The only downside was the price. If you don't mind spending a little extra, then I'd say Okki Dokki is absolutely something to check out!

Edited to up my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Consistently good food and service. My favorite for Korean food in this area. Not a fancy restaurant by any stretch of the imagination but the food is good and is reasonably priced. I had beef bulgogi here recently and it was actually the best that I've had anywhere in a while. I requested it medium spicy and it actually was, which is normally not the case when I've ordered it at other places (I think they believe that Americans are afraid of spice so they they think we're bluffing when we request it). This place is worth a try.

Okay that other place I liked in this area can suck a fuck. youtube.com/watch?v=8DIh… This is by far the best (on par with annadale, va) galbi in all the land of emerald green. Its a sketchy part of town, next to a seedy bar, but you know what? They know how to get their galbi on! No air con, so get it to go... and they aren't open on the weekends. Maybe not mondays either. Its really random. I'm always lucky if I grab them, but its fantastic. If you're looking for the best korean on the emerald coast, this is it.

New favorite korean spot in fwb. Everything is fresh and homemade. Place looks a little divey on the inside but great and accommodating service; the owners are always really nice and grateful for your business. My favorites are the yaki mandu and beef bulgogi, so tasty!

  • Wayne W.

Nice place to grab some great Korean food. Felt like I was eating in someone's garage with the decor but the bulgogi was amazing and the woman running around taking care of everything was very sweet and helpful. I'll definitely be back soon.

This place is not in the best of neighborhoods, but the food was amazing! They give good portions. I wasnt able to eat all of my food so the owner gave me an extra serving of rice. She was cute and sooo nice. I will definitely be back!

My husband and I went here based on the reviews on Yelp. Best the decision ever! The food was excellent. Best Korean food since we left Korea. Fresh, fresh, fresh! The little lady who waited on us was so sweet. We had fried yaki mandu and it was to die for. I had bibimbap which was loaded with well seasoned meat and vegetables. So good! Small dining area, but very clean and welcoming . Only place I will eat Korean food from now on.

Really excellent Korean food. Best I've had in the area. The portions are smaller, but the food is really good and worth it. The place it's in is a little shady and inside is a little run down, but the food is bueno

Come here strictly for the food! The decor is sub par, but the good food and good prices make up for that. I've had both the beef and chicken bulgolgi, both are delicious.

Okki Dokki is the sort of place that is so good and unique that I can no longer pass through Ft. Walton without at least CONSIDERING stopping to eat. This is a literal hole-in-the-wall, a sparsely appointed narrow dining room in a seedy shopping center near the southern end of Beale Parkway. There are few seats and it has always been busy when I've visited. It appears to be popular with many airman from the surrounding bases. The menu is fantastic, with a wide selection of Korean fare, including a spicy chicken dish which I absolutely LOVE (unfortunately Yelpers, the name escapes me) and also all the standard fare like bulgogi and kimmchi, all well done. The server (and owner?) is very polite and accommodating and prices are very reasonable. This place is a treasure, and certainly one of the best-kept secrets in Ft. Walton. If you are reading this review and in the area, congratulations, the cat is out of the bag!

We were on our way from FL visit and got hungry on the way. Entered asian food in the GPS and it took us to this place....at first glance...didnt wanna eat here...place looked little cramped...but after first visit..had to visit this place again and again..... The owner is super nice...and super awesome authentic korean food. I've been to this place couple of times and will definitely will go again..if i visit this area.

Pretty decent Korean restaurant. Definitely better than Kim's Kitchen in terms of the food. Service was pretty slow and the interior isn't too well furnished. Looks like they're still in their infancy. I had the Dol Sot Bibim Bop and it reminded me of the rest stops in Korea (in a good way). Not mindblowingly good but so far the best Korean food in the area.

This is another tiny pearl tucked in a small, ghetto shopping area in Fort Walton Beach. The food is great and has the largest selection of Korean dishes that I have seen on the Emerald Coast. My wife had the Kimchi Jigae and I had something really tasty that resembled a "kimchi bulgogi" dish (can't remember the name). I will be returning again.
